Industries We Serve in Las Vegas

Three cutting services quote instantly online at The Job Shop: CNC routing for wood, plastics, composite panels and foam, fiber laser cutting for sheet metal and plate on a 12 kW laser, and CNC plasma cutting for steel, stainless and aluminum plate — and 3D printing does too. Each guide below covers the work one industry brings — what gets cut, which materials fit, how to design for the machine and how ordering works.

One way to order

Every guide ends at an instant quote

Wood, plastic, composite and foam parts are quoted on the CNC router; sheet metal on the fiber laser; and steel, stainless and aluminum plate on the fiber laser or with CNC plasma. Upload a file to the right one, check the price, and order and pay online.

While laser rates are being finalized, approving a laser quote sends an order request: the shop confirms the price by email, then you pay online. Nothing is charged until you agree.

While plasma rates are being finalized, approving a plasma quote sends an order request: the shop confirms the price by email, then you pay online. Nothing is charged until you agree.

  1. Upload a DXF, SVG or STEP file to the routing, laser or plasma quote.
  2. Review what the quote read from your file, with each part’s price and the total.
  3. Approve the proof, then order and pay online.
  4. Pick up at the shop, or get local delivery across the Las Vegas valley.

More ways in

The guides cover the work that comes in most, not everything the shop takes on. Upload any flat part for an instant quote, or compare sheets in the material library. Printed parts and props have an instant quote of their own through 3D printing. Machining, foam carving, tube work and vinyl printing are quoted on request — the services directory links each one, with a quote request form that takes drawings and files. Builds that need more than parts — welding, finishing or installation — go through a custom fabrication inquiry.
