Need custom fabrication?

The Job Shop handles instant-quote CNC routing, fiber laser cutting, CNC plasma cutting and 3D printing. For welding, scenic work, carpentry, installation, or a full trade-show build, describe the project for our parent team at Innovate 3D.

What this page is for

Use this page when a project needs more than cut parts — when it has to be welded, built, finished or installed. Send a request for:

  • Welding and metalwork — frames, bases and assemblies that have to be joined, not just cut.
  • Scenic and themed work — set pieces, props and themed builds for stages, events and venues.
  • Carpentry and millwork — built-ins, furniture and millwork that need assembly and finishing, not just cut panels.
  • Installation — mounting or setting up the finished work on site.
  • Full trade-show builds — a complete booth, rather than parts for your own crew to assemble.
  • Work the shop’s machines don’t do — waterjet cutting for stone, glass, tile or heat-sensitive metal, or a complete solid-surface countertop.

The team reviews each request and says whether it can take the job on — and if it can’t, where to look.

Parts The Job Shop can cut or print for your build

If you or your fabricator will put the build together, order the parts directly. Routing, laser, plasma and 3D printing quote instantly: upload DXF, SVG or STEP files for cut parts, or STL, 3MF, OBJ or STEP models for printed ones, see each part’s price and order online, then pick up or get local delivery in the Las Vegas valley.

  • Live — quote, pay & deliver

    CNC routing

Wood, plastics, Dibond (ACM) and foam — panels, counters, slot-together frames, letters and templates.

  • Live — quote, pay & deliver

    Metal laser cutting

Steel, stainless, aluminum, brass and copper — base plates, brackets, gussets and panels.

  • Live — quote, pay & deliver

    CNC plasma cutting

Mild steel, stainless and aluminum plate — base plates, gussets, brackets and profiles where a rougher edge is fine.

  • Live — quote, pay & deliver

    3D printing

FDM, large-format and resin prints — props, logos, display pieces, brackets and enclosures, sanded, primed or painted one color if you like.

Cut parts arrive flat and as cut, and 3D prints with the finish chosen in the quote — bending, welding and assembly aren’t part of an online order. Tube and machined parts are quoted on request: send a drawing or file and the shop replies with a price.

  • Custom quote

    CNC Tube Laser Cutting

Tube and structural profiles cut with copes, slots, and holes.

  • Custom quote

    CNC Tube Bending

CNC-controlled bending for tubular frames and formed components.

  • Custom quote

    CNC Milling

Milled pockets, profiles and holes in aluminum, steel and engineering plastics.

What to include in a fabrication request

  • Drawings or photos — sketches, CAD files, a designer’s drawings or reference photos.
  • Sizes and quantities — overall dimensions, how many, and anything that has to fit existing work.
  • Materials and finish — what it’s made of, and any paint, powder coat, laminate or graphics.
  • Location or venue — the address, or the venue, show and booth number, with any access or receiving rules.
  • Dates — when you need it, plus any move-in, install or event dates.
  • Budget range (optional) — a range helps the team suggest an approach that fits.

What happens next

  1. Send the form below, with any drawings, photos or CAD files attached.
  2. The team reviews the requirements and routes the request: fabrication to Innovate 3D, cut parts to The Job Shop’s instant quote, or a pointer elsewhere when the work isn’t a fit.
  3. Fabrication is scoped and priced with you directly — it isn’t ordered or paid for through the online quote.

Custom fabrication FAQs

Is custom fabrication part of the instant quote?

No. The instant quote covers CNC routing, metal laser cutting, CNC plasma cutting and 3D printing, which you order online. Welding, carpentry, scenic work, installation and full builds are reviewed by the Innovate 3D team from a request on this page.

Can I order just the cut parts and build it myself?

Yes. Upload part files to the routing quote, the laser quote or the plasma quote for an exact price on every part, then pick the parts up or get local delivery in the Las Vegas valley. They arrive flat and as cut, ready for your crew or fabricator. Printed pieces have their own instant quote: upload a model to the 3D printing quote.

Do you offer waterjet cutting?

No — there’s no waterjet at The Job Shop. For stone, glass, tile or heat-sensitive metal, describe the part in a request here, and the team will tell you whether it can help or where to look.

Can a build go straight to a convention venue?

Sometimes, but it’s confirmed per job, because each show’s contractor controls dock access and move-in schedules. Put the venue, show, booth number and move-in dates in your request.

How much does custom fabrication cost?

It depends on the scope, so it isn’t priced online. Send the details — a budget range helps — and the team replies by email. Cut parts on their own can be priced instantly in the online quote.
