Retail Fixture & Display Parts in Las Vegas
Las Vegas retail runs from resort shopping corridors to neighborhood boutiques and pop-ups, and its fixtures share a pattern: a handful of designs, built again and again. The Job Shop cuts the parts from your files — shelving, risers, wall panels, counter displays and acrylic components on the CNC router, and brackets, kick plates and metal accents on the fiber laser — so the tenth store’s fixtures match the first. Mix plywood and acrylic parts in one routing quote, approve the proof, and reorder from your account when the next location opens.
While laser rates are being finalized, approving a laser quote sends an order request: the shop confirms the price by email, then you pay online. Nothing is charged until you agree.

A practical guide
Planning retail fixtures and displays
Fixtures for one store or fifty
A rollout depends on repeatability. Keep one file per fixture, named the way your store plans name it, and order by quantity. Each part’s volume pricing table shows the exact price at each quantity where that part’s price steps, and longer routed runs earn a volume discount on cutting — so you can see whether ordering every store at once beats ordering one store at a time. The example prices compare a single part with a run of ten.
When the next location opens, Reorder in your account starts a new quote with the same parts at current prices, and Duplicate does the same from a saved quote. If one store needs a variation — a shorter shelf run, a different logo panel — upload just that part as a new file and keep the rest unchanged.
Acrylic, wood and metal in one fixture
Most fixtures mix materials: a plywood carcass, an acrylic shelf or face, a metal bracket. Plywood, MDF, acrylic and the other routed sheets can share one routing quote, each part on its own material and thickness, and each material nests on its own sheets. Metal parts are quoted on the laser portal, which checks them against the laser’s own design rules — choose the same speed in both quotes when everything should be ready together.
Design the joints between materials for movement. Acrylic grows with heat more than wood does, so give screws in acrylic slotted or oversized holes and a washer, let acrylic shelves sit in routed dados with a little clearance rather than glued tight, and keep holes in acrylic back from the edges, where cracks start.
Built for the sales floor
Fixtures take daily knocks, cleaning sprays and customers leaning on them. Put hard-wearing finishes and stainless kick plates where carts and shoes hit, round corners at hand height, and keep acrylic out of spots where it will be scratched by hangers or product. Mall and resort leases often set tenant criteria for fixtures and signs, so check them with the landlord before you order.
Parts are delivered as cut. Plywood edges sand smooth quickly and take a clear coat, MDF takes primer and paint, and acrylic edges are frosted unless they’re polished — a separate step to ask the shop about. Paint, laminate, edge banding, assembly and installation are handled by your fixture builder or store crew.
Design tips
Design tips for retail fixtures and displays
Sizes here are read from the shop’s current machine settings — the same rules the quote checks every part against.
- Hole grids
- Pegboard-style grids are drilled one hole at a time, so their price follows the hole count; use the fewest holes that still give the layout flexibility you need. Round holes from 3 mm (0.118″) up are drilled.
- Shelf dados
- Cut shelf dados to the measured sheet. Routed dado ends are rounded by the 1/8″ bit, so square shelf corners need a small notch, or the dado can run out through the panel’s back edge.
- Acrylic spans
- Thin acrylic sags under product over a long span, so add a support or step up a thickness; the quote picker shows the thicknesses in stock.
- Flat-packed displays
- Slot-together counter displays ship flat and assemble in the store. Keep tabs several bit widths wide, and add dog-bone relief where a tab has to seat fully.
- Metal brackets
- Laser-cut brackets ship flat and their holes are cut, not drilled: draw holes at least about half the material thickness across, at tap-drill size where they’ll be tapped.
- Engraved branding
- Engrave a logo or SKU into a routed part, or set it to Etch line on metal, instead of adding a separate plate.
How ordering works
From file to finished parts
Quote online, approve a proof, pay, then pick up at the shop or get local delivery.
Upload your files
DXF, SVG or STEP — routed parts to the routing quote, metal parts to the laser quote. Quoting needs no account; you sign in when you approve.
Check the instant quote
Confirm what the quote read from each part — cuts, holes, pockets and engraving — and see each part’s price and the total. Change anything and it re-prices.
Approve the proof
The proof lists every part, feature, material and quantity. Add notes for the shop before you approve.
Pay online
Routed parts are paid by card or US bank account (ACH). While laser rates are being finalized, approving a laser quote sends an order request: the shop confirms the price by email, then you pay online. Nothing is charged until you agree.
Pick up or get delivery
Choose free pickup or local delivery when you approve. The shop emails you at each step — received, programmed, cutting and finished.
For retail fixtures and displays: For a rollout, give each store its own quote when it needs its own delivery address and date, so every location gets its own proof and order.
The practical details
Lead times, pickup & delivery
Lead times
- Standard · 5–7 business days
- Fast · 3 business days
- Rush · Next business day
Lead time counts business days from when payment clears; orders paid by 3 PM Pacific on a business day join that day’s schedule. Your quote shows the estimated ready date for each speed, and faster speeds cost more. For laser parts, the shop confirms timing with the price before cutting.
Pickup & local delivery
Collecting parts at the shop is free. Pickup is by appointment — call (702) 755-4722 or reply to your order email to schedule a time. Local delivery covers Las Vegas, Henderson, North Las Vegas and Boulder City: $45 flat, free on orders of $500 or more. Your quote checks the ZIP; outlying towns are priced for pickup or arranged freight.
How it’s priced
Routed parts: cutting per part, plus material by the whole sheets your parts nest onto — or a per-sheet handling fee when you bring the sheets.
Laser parts: each is priced on its cut length, each hole by its size, its pierces and any etched lines, plus setup and programming once per design, handling for each piece and loading for each sheet the job uses, and metal is billed by the area your parts use, cut from the shop’s stock.
Order minimum: $95.
Retail Fixtures & Displays FAQs
Can I order the same fixture for several stores?
Yes. Order the full quantity on one quote for a single delivery, or place a quote per store when each needs its own address and date. Reorder in your account repeats a past order’s parts at current prices, so later stores match the first.
Can acrylic and plywood parts be on one quote?
Yes — every routed material can share one routing quote, with each part set to its own material and thickness. Metal parts are quoted separately on the fiber laser portal.
Will acrylic display edges be clear?
Routed acrylic edges are smooth but frosted, which suits parts held in a dado, frame or bracket. Glass-clear edges need a separate polishing step that isn’t part of the instant quote — ask the shop before ordering.
Do quantity discounts apply to fixture parts?
Yes. Longer routed runs of the same part earn a volume discount on cutting, and identical laser-cut parts get automatic quantity discounts from 2 pieces. Each part’s volume pricing table shows the price at each quantity before you order.
Do you build or install fixtures?
No. Parts are cut to your files and picked up or delivered within the valley; assembly, finishing and installation are done by your fixture builder or crew. Printed window and wall graphics can be installed by the shop, quoted on request from vinyl printing. For finished fixtures, describe the job in a custom fabrication inquiry.
What holds up best on a busy sales floor?
Baltic birch or hardwood plywood under a hard clear finish for exposed shelving, MDF where fixtures are painted, and stainless for kick plates and brackets that take knocks. Keep clear acrylic for parts customers look through rather than lean on.
